This one was a commission piece for *Sweetaries here on DA. I know I was supposed to be avoiding commissions but I am short of funds at the moment and I've taken on a few lately that sounded like they would be fun.
This is Sweetaries' character Nadala Celeste, host to an elf soul, worshipper of the dark god Kull, keeper of the dead. I'm really glad I did this one, I'm very proud of how it worked out. Photoshop with wacom tablet. No references. Used a few free stock photos from ImagineFX magazine for the wall/ceiling/floor textures. And I stole the title line from the movie "army of Darkness" because I couldn't resist. Copyright Dypsomaniart 2009 |
