stage 3, FINISHED.
spent about another 6 hours on it, i did the two work in progress pics cos i thoght this would be a long time in painting and people could see how i build up an image, but i ended up doing it in three sittings. so the two wip stages will be in my scraps anyway if anyone wants to see how this pic started out. it's taken about 14 hours at this stage, and i consider it complete. yeah theres still a couple of sketchy bits but i kind of like that. spent forever detailing the demon guy and then did a motion blur on him so ya can't see any of the texture anyway, bit of a waste of time, but the blur gives back the feeling of motion i wanted. all drawn in photoshop, no refs, copyright dypsomaniart 2006 |
