My very first Poser pic :)
I just bought Poser 7 and I LOVE it. Still learning at the moment, but stay tuned folks, things will only get better from here.

awesoome dude! so you rendered her in poser and paint over? or you only use her 3d model as a quicky pose?

cheers mate :) yeah a bit of each. Basically used a poser figure as a poseable manequin for the figure and did the rest oldschool. But poser renders them so damn well I think I'll be doing a lot more of it in poser once I get more proficient with the face editor and stuff.

Oh great! I'm so glad you decided to get Poser! I love my Poser. Though I only use it as a ref for lighting and pose, I really enjoy having it at my disposal. Now, in the hands of a professional artist (such as yourself) only great things can happen!

So far have you found it decreasing your time spent on figuring out poses and lighting and such? I recall your recent journal entry about that.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

that sounds like fun! well i did use poser before, tried rendering it and export it as image, buuut i stopped there lol, i didn't paint over. It s true what you said about poser's render, it does look good, especially when we play around with the lightings and texture ;) but i never got around the hair editor, thats kinda confusing for me lol.

Wow... i love the fire, and the skull in the back...

Now you have the perfect tool to set up your images before you commit to them...
Looking forward to some even more impressive work...

thanks :) yeah, it's an awesome program. I've only played with it thus far, but it wiill definately speed up my workflow considerably once I'm fluent with it's workings :) I think I still need to sketch out thumbnail poses and layouts, then once I've settled on one use poser to make it happen, it takes a long time to pose things really properly, so it's not real quick for testing poses to decide on (except the presets of course).
but yeah, I can see why you love it so much. Thanks for the comment in my journal too (i started replying to them but didn't get back to yours yet, sorry), yours was one that helped me make up my mind, much appreciated :)

yeah the hair results aren't great either, or the clothing and accessories, but as nude bald dummies they work great as a basis for photoshop work :)
I haven't even looked at the textures yet, but playing with the lighting is fun.

I can see this is going to be a good combo for you
nice so far.. only going to get better by far!
May just give it a shot myself when I have some extra cash to play around with.. but right not I got to get photoshop back on my system.... I got a new machine.. and it's loaded with Vista Death!
That put a quick end to all my older programs as none of them will install on this crap O.S now.. So I'm reduced to a program like Opencanvas.. which is not a bad program.. just a bit limited
